Funerals
Let's talk about a Celebration of life!
Saying goodbye is never easy, and there’s no single right way to do it. A farewell should reflect the person at the heart of it - their personality, their story, the people and things they loved, and all those little details that made them them.
Whether your family wants something traditional and heartfelt, relaxed and uplifting, or completely personal and a little unconventional, I’ll take the time to listen to you and create a ceremony that feels right.
I work closely with families and funeral directors to gather the stories and memories that matter, write a thoughtful and personal ceremony, and deliver it with warmth, sensitivity and professionalism on the day.
There can be tears, of course, but there can also be laughter, favourite stories, music, little quirks and moments that make everyone in the room think, “That was so them.”

A Ceremony
as Unique as They Were!
No two lives are the same, so their farewell shouldn’t feel one-size-fits-all either.
Personal touches don’t have to be huge. It might be a favourite piece of music, a story everybody knows, a reading that captures them perfectly, photographs, their football team’s colours, or simply making space for the people who loved them to share their memories.
And sometimes, something a little more unconventional feels exactly right. Maybe that’s a final D&D dice roll for someone who spent years adventuring around a table, a quiz in honour of the family’s undisputed trivia champion, or everyone joining in with a song they loved.
Sometimes the most meaningful touches are beautifully simple. Sometimes they’re wonderfully different. What matters is that they feel right for the person you’re remembering and the people saying goodbye.
MY APPROACH
I know arranging a funeral or celebration of life can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to guide, support and reassure you through the ceremony side of things.
My approach is warm, personal and professional. I’ll listen carefully to what matters to you, help you shape the ceremony, and make sure your loved one’s story is handled with the care and respect it deserves.
I can work with your chosen funeral director for a cremation or burial, or if you’re opting for a direct cremation, we can plan a Celebration of Life anywhere— at a venue, a garden, a theatre, a gaming café, or even their favourite pub.
The ceremony can be as long or as short as you want, with music, readings, personal tributes, and anything else that makes it feel just right!

Living Funerals
Living funerals are becoming more popular as people seek meaningful ways to celebrate their lives while they’re still here to enjoy it. If you want to experience a celebration of your life, full of joy, love, and laughter, a living funeral might be just what you need. It’s a chance to gather your loved ones and share stories, memories, and tributes that reflect the amazing person you are - while you can still be part of the moment.
This unique opportunity allows you to hear the words and see the love that your friends and family want to share with you. I’ll work with you to design a ceremony that truly represents who you are—whether that’s through your favourite memories, hobbies, passions, or quirks. From heartfelt tributes to fun anecdotes, we’ll create a ceremony that reflects your personality and celebrates the journey you’ve had so far.
Living funerals offer the rare chance to witness the celebration of your life surrounded by the people who matter most, whether it’s a lively event with music and laughter or an intimate gathering. More people are realising how powerful it can be to experience their own tribute and feel the love that’s shared.
You get to be the guest of honour in your own celebration, making memories that will last forever. Let’s celebrate your life in a way that feels right for you, in a ceremony that’s as unique as you are.

A farewell that feels like them

Sometimes it’s the little details that say the most.
For one celebration of life I conducted, Only Fools and Horses was the gentleman’s favourite show, so his final journey was made in an Only Fools and Horses three-wheeler hearse. I also created an order of service to match, carrying that little piece of his personality through the farewell.
Personalising a funeral doesn’t have to mean doing anything elaborate. It’s about finding the things that feel right for that person and that family - whether that’s the music, the stories we tell, something they loved, or a detail that immediately makes everyone think, “That is so them.”
