What to expect from a wedding ceremony with katie...
Your ceremony is a completely bespoke experience created around you.
There are no templates and no standard scripts. Everything is written from scratch based on your story, your personalities, and the atmosphere you want to create on your wedding day.
From our first conversation through to the moment you walk down the aisle, I guide you through the whole process so you always know what’s happening and what your options are.
How We'll work together...
We’ll start with a detailed questionnaire where you can tell me all about you as a couple - your story, your personalities, what you love, and how you want your ceremony to feel.
From there I’ll spend time developing ideas and shaping the beginnings of your ceremony before we meet to bring everything together. This is where we explore your options, refine ideas, and start building something that feels completely personal and true to you.
Your ceremony is then written and refined in collaboration with you so it feels exactly right.
Vows and Personal Elements
Your vows are one of the most meaningful parts of your ceremony and I’ll support you throughout the process.
You’ll receive a clear structured guide to help you get started along with prompts and ideas if you need them. I’m also happy to review your vows and offer feedback so they feel natural and completely you when you say them.
On the day
When your wedding day arrives I’ll be there to deliver your ceremony with warmth confidence and genuine joy so you can relax and be fully present in the moment.
Your ceremony will feel natural personal and full of life setting the tone for everything that follows.

This reflects the time care and creative work that goes into crafting your ceremony along with the support you’ll receive throughout the process and on your wedding day.
Optional add ons:
If you’d like to run through everything beforehand I offer rehearsal support for an additional fee to help everything feel smooth and confident on the day.
If you’d like anything extra I can create a bespoke quote to suit your needs.
A small travel fee is charged for ceremonies more than 30 miles from B73.
here's the legal bit... concentrate!
Currently in England, the legal part of the wedding still needs to be finalised with a registrar (we're all hoping the law changes on this very soon).
Most couples opt to pop over to the register office a day or two before their Celebrant-led ceremony and dot the i's and cross the t's on the legal part of your union.
As your true celebration will be the day that we will plan together, most people opt for the most basic package at the register office. For this you'll just need the two of you and a couple of witnesses to go along with you. Birmingham Register Office currently charge £74.50 for this legal part.
